This skilled migration category is for those who have occupation listed in Short Term Skill Shortage List (STSSL) or Medium to Long Term Skill Shortage List (MLTSSL), have 65 points (including 5 points from state nomination) and meet state nomination requirements.
This pass mark is currently lower than skilled independent 189 category.
Subclass 491 Visa (Regional State or Family Sponsored Visa)
This skilled migration category is for those who have occupation listed in Short Term Skill Shortage List (STSSL) or Medium to Long Term Skill Shortage List (MLTSSL), have 65 points (including 15 points from state or family nomination) and meet state nomination requirements.
This pass mark is currently the lowest of all the skilled independent categories for skilled migrant workers and applications under this category receive priority processing by Department of Home Affairs Australia. This category is the most popular skilled migration category and is the easiest for skilled workers to qualify for.
